Join Shroppiemon on his inaugural self-guided tour, taking in the sights of Shrewsbury and strolling around some of the most historic parts of Shrewsbury Town Centre.
This first Shroppiemon Stroll takes in 15 of Shrewsbury’s historic Shuts. Each stroll booklet includes a welcome message from Shroppiemon, along with the route map and trail which includes some historic facts and some folklore around the features of this self guided trail – in classic Shroppiemon style.
This self-guided stroll takes between 45 minutes and 1.5 hours – it’s all dependent on your own walking speed of course, but we always recommend a leisurely stroll, no pressure, and have fun along the way, maybe even pause for a coffee and cake! We’ve also included alternative routes to avoid steps or narrow passages where applicable.

This trail booklet also includes a free A4 quiz sheet for your little ones to follow along route too – with questions such as how many hoops can you see on the spire of St Mary’s and draw your favourite bear, plus a copy of the stroll route map for them to follow along if they wish. So bring along the children or grand children and let them explore and delve deeper into Shrewsburys History.
