Another short one today, what do you mean hurrah?
An odd one today, and possibly our owdest visitors, as monks have bin seen hovering above Princess Street heading to and from the owd church, the reason for this is that at one time there was an elevated walkway linking the church to what was the Sextry. There was also believed to be a tunnel from number but this has long since been filled in.
One of our members of Memories of Shropshire Facebook group told me that whilst they were walking their seven year old daughter across the church yard she said “I was burnt here”, a strange thing for a young’un to say especially whilst walking next to the local convent.
