I read about this visitor in Martin Wood’s book, Haunted Shrewsbury, you might know Martin better as our town crier.
In the rear of this building, a mon dressed in dark clothing with a brown leather apron around his waist has bin seen. Martin suggests that it is possibly the spirit of beer retailer, Joseph Cooper, who unfortunately died frum a heart attack that he suffered whilst moving heavy ale-casks.
